looking back on two thousand and eighteen
So here we are again! End of another wild year.
And each time we get here, I take a step back, look through and think about all of that year’s work and realize how far I’ve come. How dang challenging it IS to run a business AND stay home full time mothering my children. And might I add, having no idea what I’m doing most of the time either. Ha!
I have a lot to be proud of. Even if there’s still a ton to learn and grow from, I have made it! No, maybe not ‘made it’ to where others think I should be, expect me to be, or even to where my biggest dreams hope me to be. Instead I have ‘made it’ here; to some previous year’s dreams. After all, many years ago I dreamt of the day I’d become a mother. I also dreamt of leaving the restaurant industry and starting my own photography business. I made it! Those dreams have happened. Yes, I have a long ways to go still (and new dreams), but even if I never fully ‘get there’, I do believe I have made it. I am living my dreams right now. I have a lot to be thankful for.
THANK YOU to each and every one of you for making in an incredible year. I am ending the year feeling so inspired and excited for a fresh new year full of ideas and new direction. Here I put together a look into most of my sessions from 2018 (8 or so others not posted). Most images NEVER seen before (whoops, ha)! In no particular order. I hope you feel inspired looking through these. I am PROUD of the art I created this year and hope you feel the same as well. Have a beautiful new 2019 friends.
