FAQs

Can I upgrade or change tiers later?

Yes — if you decide you'd like more flexibility or want to add a mini session mid-year, reach out and I can help you adjust your membership.

Will my membership automatically renew for next year?

No — memberships do not auto-renew. You’ll receive an invitation to re-enroll before enrollment opens to others, but you’ll need to actively sign up again to keep your spot and your current rate.

Can I join The Legacy Membership if I don’t live in the Twin Cities?

Yes — as long as you're willing to travel to the Twin Cities for your session, you're welcome to join! All sessions take place locally, but if you’d prefer to have me come to you, a travel fee can be added depending on your location. Reach out and we can chat through the details.

I’m confused about the mini session — how does that work?

Mini sessions are included in certain membership tiers and can be used anytime during your membership year. They’re perfect for moments that don’t need a full session — like family visiting, maternity photos before baby arrives, updated headshots, or milestone sessions during your baby’s first year (think sitting up, first steps, or a simple birthday session).

It’s a 30-minute session with around 20-30 digital files.

You’re not required to use it, but it’s there if you want it. I’ll always do my best to find a time that works.

Will I get my digital files right away, even if I’ve only made one or two payments before the session?

Yes! Once you sign up and make your first payment, you can book your session right away — you’ll get instant access to the summer calendar. If you're hoping for a fall session instead, that calendar will open in August. Your gallery will be delivered on my usual timeline (typically 2–4 weeks after your session), and you’ll be able to download your images and use your print credit as soon as it’s ready.

Can I skip a year and rejoin later?

Yes — but consider this:

Spots may be limited. Even if there’s room this year, future enrollment could be full if current members renew. I don’t plan to expand spots, just refill any that open.

Rates may increase. Staying enrolled locks you in at your current rate. If you leave and return later, you’ll rejoin at the new pricing.

You can skip a session — as long as you stay a member. For example, if you are planning to have another child in a year or find out you’re pregnant, you could skip this year’s full session and “roll it over” to use two full sessions the following year.
